Sixth at the 2022 Beijing Paralympics. Fourth now. Aaron Lindström is going from strength to strength on the alpine slopes. Still, the Swede is not satisfied with fourth place in the downhill.

"I had a good ride, but not having the tenths on my side is really disappointing. It's a bit hard to see the positives right now," he says.

The Paralympics in Milan-Cortina are also the first time Russia and Belarus will be allowed to participate under their national flags since the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Several countries, including Sweden, boycotted the opening ceremony to protest the decision.

Aaron Lindström is also critical, but tries not to put too much energy into it, and says it was Bugajev who pushed him off the podium.

It's sad. Nothing has changed in the war. But now they're here competing, so you can't focus on that. He happened to be Russian and took third place.

Lindström was 36 hundredths of a second away from a medal. Robin Cuche from Switzerland took the gold and Arthur Bauchet from France took the silver.

The Swede also wants to pay tribute to Ebba Årsjö, who took gold in the women's standing downhill.

It's wonderful, really fun. A gold for Sweden. Just be happy for her.
