After the weekend's bombings, Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) will visit Norrköping on Tuesday, accompanied by the Social Democrats' legal policy spokesperson Teresa Carvalho, who is from the city.

Two explosions and a suspected dangerous object were the grim reality for Norrköping this past weekend.

Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer tells the media that "it's terrible."

I feel for all the residents of Norrköping who have once again been woken up both to the sounds of explosions that have been heard across large parts of Norrköping, and then to headlines in the media that have confirmed that they have been affected by new serious acts of violence.

Streams continue:

It is also confirmation that – without going into the exact reasons behind the individual cases – we have a situation where the capital for violence is still very extensive among criminal gangs. Where conflict levels between different gangs are still very high, and where they also use explosions as a tool to both intimidate their opponents, to blackmail business relationships and other things.

The Social Democrats write in a press release that Strömmer is going at the invitation of Carvalho. Together they will meet with representatives of the police and social services in Norrköping, among other things.
