After eight straight matches without a win – five of which were losses – in Serie A and the Champions League, Tudor was forced to leave the coaching position on Monday.
At home against Udinese, the team was temporarily led by U23 coach Massimo Brambilla. He got off to a flying start.
Already in the fifth minute, Dusan Vlahovic made it 1–0 on a penalty – Juventus' first goal in around 400 minutes of football.
The Turin club dominated the first half, but in added time the cold shower came. After a bit of luck with the ball bouncing in the penalty area, Nicolò Zanioli was able to score the equalizer for Udinese, who started with Swedish national team midfielder Jesper Karlström.
It would still be three points for Juventus. In the 67th minute, center back Federico Gatti headed in the winning goal from a corner. In added time, Kenan Yildiz also made it 3–1 from a penalty.
A new coach has not yet been announced, but it is rumored that former Italian national team captain and former Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti will take over Juventus.
