When the teams met in the first semi-final last week in Paris, PSG won 5-4 in a crazy goal-fest.
In Munich, there were only two goals, the first of which came before the fans at the Allianz Arena had barely had time to sit down.
2 minutes 25 seconds into the match, Ousmane Dembélé made it 1–0 with a left-footed finish after a cross from the left.
No further goals were scored in the first half, which was nevertheless dramatic, with two handballs, both involving PSG players, which the referee dismissed. Had it been decided differently, Nuno Mendes would have been sent off after receiving his second yellow card, and Bayern Munich would have been awarded a penalty in the second incident.
The home team put pressure on after the break but failed to create any clear-cut chances until the very end. At the same time, PSG did not need to worry, as it would have taken two Bayern goals to force extra time.
Harry Kane scored Bayern's consolation goal in the fourth minute of added time.
This is the second consecutive year Paris SG has reached the Champions League final. Last year, they won 5–0 over Inter. In this year's final, on May 30 in Budapest, they will face Viktor Gyökeres' Arsenal, who knocked out Atlético Madrid in their semi-final.
"It's fantastic, two finals. Now we're going to go out there and try to bring home a second star. I told the players that we are warriors," said PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, according to the AP.
