We take this very seriously, says municipal director Peter Larsson to P4 Örebro.
The police had time to send a response to the school before the message that the alarm was false, reports Nerikes Allehanda.
The alarm came via the same security app that was used during the mass murder at the school on February 4 this year, when ten people were killed.
Mokhtar Bennis, high school principal in Örebro, tells NA that the mistake occurred during a training session in the app – despite the training being done in a so-called test environment.
He says that there will be employees from the regional health care on the school on Thursday to meet those who need support.
But it's tough that it turned out like this. We take small steps to be able to free ourselves from the incident, and if we have to take a step back. It's a troublesome situation, says Bennis.
