This is how the national team starts in Oslo:
Jacob Widell Zetterström – Gustaf Lagerbielke, Isak Hien, Eric Smith – Herman Johansson, Lucas Bergvall, Jesper Karlström, Yasin Ayari, Daniel Svensson – Anthony Elanga, Gustaf Nilsson.
"It will be a great opportunity to see Eric play for the national team. He has had a lot of bad luck with injuries in the past, but he made a strong impression during the training camp in March and now gets the chance," says head coach Graham Potter on the association's website.
Jacob Widell Zetterström missed the March training camp due to illness. He is now playing his third international match.
Nilsson at the top
"I think it will be important for him to play 90 minutes against a strong team like Norway. He did very well during our training session in November and I think he has taken a step forward in his club career, but I still want to see him in the national team context," says Potter.
At the top, Gustaf Nilsson steps in next to Anthony Elanga.
"Gustaf also really impressed during the training camp in March. He didn't play any minutes then but showed his mettle in training and in his way of acting around the team. We know what qualities he has and with the options we have around Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak, it's a good opportunity to get a deeper understanding of Gustaf's game," says Graham Potter.
Many changes
Gabriel Gudmundsson, Elliot Stroud and Carl Starfelt are not included in tonight's squad.
Potter and Ståle Solbakken, his Norwegian national team colleague, have agreed to allow a total of eleven player substitutions, spread over three occasions.
It has already been clear that Norway will rest Erling Braut Haaland and Martin Ødegaard. Viktor Gyökeres has been given the day off. He will join the World Cup squad on Wednesday but will not participate in the World Cup warm-up against Greece at the National Arena in Solna on Thursday.
