Back in 2021, Dua Lipa started her own book club, Service 95, in the hope of getting more people to read books. Now she's taking the next step and opening her own library, Manifesto, reports Rolling Stone.
The library opens on Saturday in conjunction with the new international book festival Babell in Porto, Portugal.
"Here you will find a hundred books that ask questions, or that have been questioned. Some have been banned by schools because of themes related to race or sexuality. Others, written for LGBTQ+ readers, are hidden away. In some cases, the author has had to pay for his words with his life," she writes in a press release.
Manifesto will be located in Porto's historic bookstore Livraria Lello, considered by many to be the most beautiful in the world.
