It's a fantastic match, we're scoring fine goals, says veteran Haris Radetinac, who ended his long Djurgård career with a substitute appearance in the final minutes.

After twelve seasons and 304 matches, it's all over for the 39-year-old in the club.

He was greatly hailed by over 23,000 spectators.

I waited almost 90 minutes to come on. I think all football players would like to experience this, he says about the tributes on Disney+ and was asked what Djurgården means to him.

Everything, there are no words that can describe it.

Djurgården was already clear for advancement, but with a win, they had the chance to become top 8 in the table and go directly to the quarterfinals in March.

That's what happened.

Nguen matchwinner

Tokmac Nguen scored a goal and set up another when Djurgården took their fourth straight win in the Conference League and reached the quarterfinals for the second time. They were also there in 2022.

Interim coach Roberth Björknesjö – who replaced Kim Bergstrand and Thomas Lagerlöf during the fall – made his last match and can leave after a successful stint.

The match had just started when it was interrupted because the smoke from the home supporters' Bengal firecrackers made visibility disappear.

After about a quarter of an hour, the match resumed, and a sharp Djurgården struck twice.

Norwegian Tokmac Nguen was involved in both goals.

The first one he scored himself when he broke through in the middle and beautifully curled in 1–0 in the 24th minute behind Legia's goalkeeper Gabriel Kobylak.

Saved on the goal line

About four minutes later, Nguen set up red-hot Dennis Hümmet, who got a dream hit centrally just outside the penalty area and made it 2–0.

Between the first and second goals, Legia Warszawa had a hot chance, but home back Keita Kosugi acted as a saving angel on the goal line.

Instead, the guests struck about ten minutes into the second half when Pawel Wsolek headed in the reduction.

But Djurgården didn't just hold on, they could also settle the matter when substitute Patric Åslund shot 3–1 with a quarter left.

The quarterfinals in the Conference League will be played on March 6 and 13, and will be drawn on February 21 when the playoff matches, the round of 16, are played.
