"I absolutely do not share that image", says Susanne Ås Sivborg in a comment to TT.
There is a fierce storm surrounding her since Expressen revealed that the National Land Survey of Sweden had disclosed sensitive security information without secrecy review via its e-service.
The newspaper has also been able to present information on how Ås Sivborg attempted to conceal information about the security breaches from the Government Offices.
"I do not share the image conveyed in Expressen's articles", says Ås Sivborg.
According to her, she has continuously informed the Government Offices and the board.
"But in hindsight, I could have informed even more".
Ås Sivborg denies having instructed her subordinates on what they were allowed to say in contact with the Government Offices.
She further states that "in hindsight, it is always possible to be wise after the event".
"Some of the measures we have implemented might have been able to be implemented earlier and given higher priority".
On Tuesday, Ås Sivborg was questioned in the Riksdag's Civil Committee and she also had a meeting with Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlson (KD).
When asked by TT whether she feels she still has the government's confidence, Ås Sivborg responds:
"You should ask the government that question, it is not my place to answer".
