Room's effort not only secured Curaçao's first-ever World Cup point; it also set an individual record that is hard to beat - 15 saves in regular time. That's more than any World Cup goalkeeper has managed since saves were first recorded in 1966. The United States' Tim Howard made 16 saves against Belgium in 2014, but that match lasted 120 minutes.
You don't think about it when you're in the middle of it, but it's clear that it will be something I'll remember. For me, as a goalkeeper, it was almost the perfect match.
"I think I need a statue in Curaçao now," the goalkeeper continues with a smile.
