Three debutants meet three veterans in the third round of Melodifestivalen in Kristianstad. Hip-hop duo Medina returns with maximum feel-good, Saga Ludvigsson continues in a country vein, and the band Korslagta brings rocking earworms.

"Dusk till dawn" – Patrik Jean

Patrik Jean is hot when it comes to Melodifestivalen – and it shows. He has previously participated as a choir singer, songwriter and artist. Now that he is making his comeback, he is going all in with a rave party that has so much energy that you can literally see the audience being dazzled by flashing laser lights.

"King of rock 'n' roll" – Crossed

The classic rock entry stands out and the chorus sticks in your head. But the question is whether it lives up to the song's message of "losing control." It brings to mind an après-ski in Austria rather than the Eurovision final in Vienna.

"Nothing" - Emilia Pantić

The 25-year-old, who is making her debut in Melodifestivalen, has previously been noted for her melancholic songs about love. With a quiet ballad, she follows the same path without straying from the original tone. However, the poetic lyrics about leaving your heart on the "seat next to you" when "the train has left" have a good chance of hitting home with those who celebrate Valentine's Day alone.

"Long live love" – Medina

The hip-hop duo, who have previously achieved success in Melodifestivalen, will not disappoint their loyal fans. Medina offers a party song with maximum "feel-good" that makes you think of a sunny, sandy beach, swinging hips and coconuts. With a high probability, they can also make the snow melt in Kristianstad.

"Selfish" - Eva Jumatate

Jumatate is this year's youngest contestant. When she participated in "Talang" at the age of 10, she moved Bianca Ingrosso to tears, and that still seems to be the 18-year-old's success formula. With the ballad "Selfish," she shows her vulnerable side and shines with her singing voice accompanied by a piano.

"Ain't today" – Saga Ludvigsson

Ludvigsson debuted in Melodifestivalen last year and won her semi-final. Now she's back with a new pop-country song. She's the same Saga Ludvigsson – perhaps a little more cocky and warmer in her clothes, singing about dancing with the devil but saying she has "no more days to waste".
