Almost two years have passed since Graham Potter was fired from the coaching job at Chelsea.
Now, the 49-year-old has been West Ham's coach for a few weeks – and he got a reason to celebrate at his former home arena in London. It was when Jarrod Bowen took advantage of Levi Colwill's mispass and scored 1–0 for the visitors in the 42nd minute.
But Chelsea, with Swedish-Dane Filip Jörgensen in goal, turned the game around after the break. Substitute Pedro Neto scored 1–1 and Cole Palmer was behind 2–1 in the 74th minute, a goal that was recorded as an own goal by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
A crucial three-pointer for Chelsea, which has had a tougher period behind it. Now, the team climbs to fourth place in the Premier League table.
West Ham has taken four points in four matches with Graham Potter and is in 15th place.
