Show jazz, salsa, contemporary, samba, and pasodoble were some of the dances on the program, and as usual at the beginning of the season, the jury was sparing with both praise and high scores.

Chef and restaurateur Tommy Myllymäki received criticism for his stiff posture.

In three-quarters, it was a fantastic pole dance where you unfortunately were the pole, said jury member Eric Saade.

Even program host Rickard Olsson's samba had, according to the jury, shortcomings on most points, but he received praise for his joy of dance.

On the other hand, radio profile Arantxa Álvarez's salsa was hailed by the jury, who gave her three eights. After the jury's scores were summed up, it was also Álvarez and former "Let's dance" program host David Lindgren who were at the top.

When the audience's votes were then added, Álvarez snatched the coveted direct ticket to further competition and avoided the duels. But David Lindgren also got an advantage by getting to choose his duel opponent.

The elimination fell on Tommy Myllymäki, which would prove to be a fatal mistake. When the audience had spoken, it was the star chef who had gathered the most votes. In the duel between actress Cecilia Frode and Rickard Olsson, it was the latter who got to dance on to the live Saturday finals.

Three out of five participants move on to the three pre-recorded qualifying programs. The jury also has the opportunity to choose a finalist among the eliminated. When the live broadcasts begin, ten participants will remain.

In next week's third and final qualifying round, Malin Stenbäck, Ferry Svan, Perla Malmberg, Christopher Wollter, and Ciara Zelmerlöw will compete.
