The pop star was arrested by police on Wednesday after her BMW was seen swaying between lanes near her home northwest of Los Angeles. She was released after a few hours but is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Britney Spears' manager told TMZ that the star should now seek help.
"Britney will do the right thing, follow the law, and we hope this is the beginning of a change in her life that should have happened a long time ago. She needs help and support during this difficult time," said Cade Hudson.
