A British man has died after falling from a popular tourist attraction in Spanish Segovia.
The 63-year-old was said to have been sitting on a railing at a viewpoint over the famous Segovia aqueduct when he lost his balance and fell backwards, reports The Guardian.
The viewpoint Postigo del Consuelo has long attracted visitors and locals for its extensive view over the city and the aqueduct.
The Segovia aqueduct, which was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1985, is the largest and best-preserved Roman building in Spain. It is believed to have been built around the year 50 and is over 28 meters high at its highest point.
