At the UN's "AI for Good Global Summit" in Geneva on Monday, the chairman of the international copyright organisation Cisac, Björn Ulvaeus, was the opening speaker.
"Good for whom?" Ulvaeus asked in his speech, urging the audience not to forget the artists' perspective in the development of artificial intelligence.
"Human creation is not the enemy of artificial intelligence. It is the reason artificial intelligence exists."
Ulvaeus has previously spoken positively about AI, but in his role as chairman of Cisac, he has also emphasised the importance of involving the creators of the works in the training process.
