On November 20, national team captain Peter Gerhardsson will announce his squad for Sweden's crucial double match against Serbia (November 28 and December 3) – the winner will play in the European Championship in Switzerland next summer.
If Fridolina Rolfö is included in the squad, the 31-year-old will have just returned from an injury. On Friday, Barcelona announced that Rolfö has problems with her thigh and is expected to be out for at least two weeks.
She missed the league match against Atlético Madrid over the weekend and was not present when Barcelona hosted Austrian S:t Pölten in the third round of Group D in the Champions League.
It went well for Barça anyway. Ewa Pajor broke the deadlock after just over half an hour, and before the first half was over, Barcelona led 5–0. The final score was 7–0.
Striker Stina Blackstenius started on the bench for her Arsenal away against Juventus in Group C, but was substituted in after an hour. By then, the London club was already leading 1–0 after Norwegian Frida Maanum had scored in the 38th minute.
After a quarter of an hour on the pitch, Blackstenius challenged the recently substituted national team teammate Emma Kullberg, but the Juventus player had no chance, and the 28-year-old was able to score 2–0 for Arsenal with her left foot. In the end, it was an away win with 4–0.
Hanna Bennison was also substituted in for Juventus, and Lina Hurtig came on for Arsenal with just over a quarter of an hour left to play. Rosa Kafaji remained on Arsenal's bench for the entire match.
