Sweden is among the countries in the world with the least corruption, but there are still shortcomings, according to the authorities that are part of the forum for cooperation against corruption.
"The most common problems involve so-called crony corruption, for example in recruitment and in individual decisions," the article authors write.
One vulnerable area is procurement, which has a turnover of just over SEK 1,000 billion a year.
The authorities have now submitted 32 proposals in four areas to the government to strengthen the work against corruption. This includes giving expert authorities "a clear responsibility to support the administration's work against corruption."
