The journey from the international space station ISS took 22.5 hours. The crew consisted of four astronauts from India, Poland, Hungary and the USA.
The American astronaut and commander Peggy Whitson commented on the space journey shortly after the spacecraft's splashdown in the Pacific Ocean:
Thanks for a nice trip... Fun to be back, she said.
The quartet was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 25. During their time in space, the crew has performed around 60 scientific experiments.
The space journey is the 18th from SpaceX that is carried out with crew on board, reports NPR.
