Blackstenius joined the national team gathering in Parma at the beginning of the week and trained for the first time on Wednesday. After deciding the Champions League final against Barcelona in Lisbon last weekend, the forward got a fever.
Ilestedt opted out of Wednesday's training due to symptoms and Hurtig, who is back in the national team for the first time in a year and a half, has struggled with various concerns throughout the season.
When Sweden played 0-0 against Italy on Friday evening, the trio was completely outside the match squad and trained individually instead earlier in the day. Two days later, all are expected to be back in full training at Bosön, ahead of Tuesday's Nations League group decider at home at Strawberry arena in Solna.
"Will evaluate"
Peter Gerhardsson is tight-lipped about how much Blackstenius, Ilestedt, and Hurtig will play in the match.
We will evaluate in minutes, naturally, and that part of it, says the national team captain.
Defender Magdalena Eriksson is suspended, which could open up for Ilestedt in the starting eleven.
"Find solutions"
She (Eriksson) is not with us, that we know. Then you always find solutions. We have center-backs who have played and will do it instead of her, says Gerhardsson.
It's enough with an unbeaten result against Denmark to secure the group win and a spot in the NL semifinals in October. In the premiere edition for women last season, Sweden finished third in their group behind the eventual champion Spain.
