Isak will forever be etched in the history books of the big club Newcastle United.
There is already talk of him deserving a statue.
After almost constant success since he joined the club in the summer of 2022, he has now topped it all by deciding a league cup final at the national arena Wembley.
"Indescribable day"
To win there, with all the fans, and the family in place. It was an indescribable day, says Isak when he meets Swedish media during the national team gathering in Marbella.
On Wembley's stands, supporters were seen to the right and left, dressed and in some cases painted entirely in the club's colors, crying tears of joy.
Can you take in how many people you bring joy to with this final victory?
I think that's what mattered most, actually, for my part. Almost all the fans you looked up at were standing and crying. And yes, 70 years... It's a long time. So I think almost that's what matters most, when you see how much it means to people.
Did it feel like you won together with the fans?
It felt like we gave each other energy. We gave them energy in the way we played. Our fans get going on the smallest thing when you win duels and celebrate a little extra. And they gave back to us with all the scarves that were waved, says Isak.
"Number one"
But it wasn't the first title of his career. In the 2019/20 season, Isak won the Spanish Cup with Real Sociedad. When he compares the two, there's no question about which one ranks highest.
This one ranks much higher. The other was without an audience during the pandemic, and here I had a bit more impact on the match.
Maybe Sunday's historic win at Wembley was even the 25-year-old's best day in life.
Just "off the top of my head", then it can be number one from a football perspective, he says.
Alexander Isak values highly his ability to be in the present, but the final victory was, in his own words, a "dream" that came true.
I take it step by step, but winning this cup was a dream. It builds up a big hype with big emotions in the city. Nervousness, excitement, everything.
The contrast between the crowd at Wembley and the training pitch in La Quinta, Marbella couldn't be greater.
Here, calm reigns.
One day you're there and the next here. It was a quick turnaround, but I think I've landed. It's nice, but I think I'll get some feelings back when I return to Newcastle.
Already before the end of March, a victory parade through Newcastle is planned, according to local media.
