I NRK's survey, 45 percent answer that their attitude has become more negative. Most people link this to the events surrounding Crown Princess Mette-Marit's son Marius Borg Høiby, who has been accused of both assault and rape.

When the same question was asked in August, the figure was 36 percent.

In addition to the scandals surrounding Borg Høiby, Princess Märtha Louise and her husband Durek Verrett are also mentioned. They chose earlier this year to sell the image rights to their wedding to the British celebrity magazine Hello Magazine and to Netflix. Märtha Louise also received criticism for launching a gin in connection with the wedding, which violated the ban on alcohol advertising.

A survey from Dagbladet also shows a decline in confidence. In their survey, 44.7 percent answer that confidence has been damaged by the scandals.
