Earlier on Monday, it became clear that Nina Koppang, who also belonged to Norwegian Vipers Kristiansand when they went bankrupt, switched Norway for Denmark.

Just a few hours later, Jamina Roberts makes the same move.

It feels like a good solution both socially and handball-wise. It has gone fast, in under a week from the first contact to me now training today, she says to Aftonbladet.

And it won't be an easy start for the Swedish handball star.

The club also writes on their website that she is expected to be ready to play already in the match on Wednesday, against Viborg. Ikast is in third place in the table, two points behind Nina Koppang's new club Esbjerg.

Roberts has previously played several seasons in the Danish top league. Between 2014 and 2016, she played in Holstebro and during her last stint in Denmark, between 2018 and 2020, she represented Randers.
