Timrå's Jonathan Dahlén or Skellefteå's Oscar Lindberg? The duel for the SHL goal-scoring lead continues, and after two more goals, Dahlén currently leads with 24 goals.

When Timrå beat third-placed Rögle 4–1 on home ice, it was Jonathan Dahlén who opened the scoring 11:15 into the match.

"I was a little disappointed when I lost the first position there, but I got my revenge quickly," the Timrå forward tells TV4 Play.

It was the fourth game in a row that Dahlén netted, and he also scored to make it 4–1 in the final stages into an empty net when Rögle had taken out their goalkeeper. With 24 goals so far, Dahlén has already surpassed his previous personal best (20 goals in the 2022–2023 season) in a regular season.

Dahlén also collected an assist when he set up Anton Lander's 3–0 power-play goal. The Timrå forward has a total of 38 points in 32 games.

Skellefteå's Oscar Lindberg also scored on Thursday night. He put second-placed Skellefteå 1-0 up at home against HV71 with a first-period goal.

"Clearly the goals have been rolling along at a good pace," Lindberg tells TV4 Play.

With 23 goals, he is now one behind Dahlén, but Lindberg leads the league in points with a total of 46 in 34 games.

Pontus Johansson extended the lead to 2–0 for Skellefteå in the third period, but when Lindberg was in the penalty box, Riley Woods was able to reduce the deficit for HV71 on the power play. With just under five minutes left to play, the Jönköping team also scored an equalizer through Jonathan Ang - a goal that sent the game into a scoreless overtime.

It wasn't until the fourth round of the shootout that a goal was scored, and it was Mikkel Aagaard who scored the decisive goal for Skellefteå to win 3–2.
