Ludvig Åberg only managed a par after the opening round in Dubai. On Friday, the Swede finally got his game going and finished with a 66 (-6). It was much better today, he tells Viaplay.

This week's finale in the DP World Tour's "Race to Dubai" puts an end to Åberg's golf season, and after two rounds he has a feeling of accomplishment.

Åberg started Friday's round with two straight birdies, followed by two pars and then three birdies in a row. He landed a 66 (–6), which places him in a shared 13th place heading into the final two rounds.

"If you look at my stats, my putting is probably a lot better today than it was yesterday. I gave myself a little more momentum on the first nine holes when I hit some putts that I read well," Åberg tells Viaplay.

Alex Norén finished Thursday even closer to the lead. 68–68 (total –8) places him as the best Swede, tied for seventh, when Friday's golf was completed.

The third Swede in the competition, Joakim Lagergren, needed a top finish to earn one of ten PGA Tour cards for next season. Instead, the Swede is second to last, with +2.

Dane Nicolai Højgaard leads at -12, three strokes ahead of compatriot Rasmus Petersen-Neergaard and four other players in second place.
