At 4 a.m. Swedish time, Sweden's first group match in the World Cup begins, against Tunisia at the Monterrey Stadium in Mexico. Millions of Swedes are expected to watch the match from home early Monday morning. But what rules apply if you want to express your feelings and are a tenant in an apartment building?

"I wouldn't say that making a little noise or yelling loudly once, for example, is grounds for an eviction," says Anna Dorrian, union lawyer at the Tenants' Association, and continues:

But it is important that, as a tenant, you really think about your surroundings and that not everyone may share the same passion for football as you.

The Tenancy Act regulates the relationship between landlord and tenant.

There are no special regulations other than being careful, keeping things tidy, and not disturbing your neighbours. What you need to think about as a tenant during the World Cup is to be considerate at night.

Anna Dorrian urges people to contact their neighbours if there are plans to stay up and watch Sweden's match, or other matches during the World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, which runs through July 19.

A good goal is for you as a tenant to think that you should not try to get a red card from your neighbours, says Anna Dorrian.
