Below follows a selection of events from last night's police district Örebro.
Örebro, illegal entry.
22.41: A 40-year-old man is suspected of illegal entry into a multi-family house in western Örebro.
Örebro, assault.
23.07: A man in his 45th year is assaulted at a pub in central Örebro, suspected is a 20-year-old man. Together with another man, they are removed from the scene after investigative measures have been taken.
Askersund, drunk driving and unauthorized driving.
23.29: The driver of an A-tractor tries to flee from a control carried out by a police patrol. A young person under 18 is caught and checked. The young person leaves a positive breath test, and suspicion of drunk driving arises, a blood test is performed, and the guardian is informed and participates in the test.
Karlskoga, illegal threats.
23.46: A 20-year-old man reports being subjected to an illegal threat from a masked person unknown to him. The man who threatened had taken an action that caused the victim to fear for his life and health. No one has been physically injured. No one is under arrest.
Örebro, drug offense.
01.11: A person control is performed on a 25-year-old man in central Örebro. The patrol finds what is suspected to be drugs, which are seized, and analysis will show if suspicion remains in the investigation of drug offense, personal use.
Örebro, assault and harassment.
02.37: An assault and harassment occur at a fast-food restaurant in Örebro. The victim is subjected to the crime by a 20-year-old man, the actions being blows and utterances towards the victim. Investigative measures have been taken and an investigation is ongoing.
Örebro, assault.
02.48: An 18-year-old man is subjected to an assault by another 18-year-old man at a fast-food restaurant in Örebro. The victim is taken to hospital with a serious injury that is bleeding heavily.
Karlskoga, drug offense.
03.35: Control of an 18-year-old man who shows signs of being affected by drugs. The man is tested and analysis will show if suspicion remains.
The night has otherwise passed with work on security-enhancing measures for patrols on duty. Several drivers and individuals have been checked. Patrols have also handled cases of mental health. 14 people have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the Law on the Taking into Custody of a Drunk Person, and two according to the 13th section of the Police Act.
