16:45 SOS alarm about traffic accident on national road 26 outside Öreryd, Gislaved. According to the alarm, a private car is said to have collided with an elk. Four people are said to have been traveling in the car. The front windshield is said to have shattered.

17:22 Police patrol on the scene.

17:47 The car is not drivable so a wrecker has arrived at the scene. The injury situation for those affected is unclear for the police press service. The elk, however, ran away after the collision and a tracker has been called in. 

17:53 There is no suspicion of a crime.
