Police have been on the scene in connection with a woman in her 80s being robbed of a purse containing a wallet by an unknown man. The man then runs from the scene but can be apprehended in the area thanks to witness statements and surveillance footage. There are no reports of physical harm to the victim. Later in the afternoon, a woman can also be apprehended, also suspected in the matter. A report of aggravated theft has been drawn up.
