Since midnight, a number of people in the county have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. A person in Boden where there is also suspicion of use and possession of narcotics. In Luleå six people were taken into custody and one was taken for testing after suspicion of narcotics influence. Three people were also taken into custody in Piteå.

Police are alerted to an assault at or near a pub in the city center. A complaint and a counter-complaint are drawn up where a woman and a man are said to have been involved.

Police are alerted to a fire in a vehicle on länsväg 502 in the Hemmingsmark area, Piteå. A car that is parked on the side of the road is said to be burning. There is no information that anyone has been injured. Police have been on the scene and taken a report of vandalism through fire.

01:11 Traffic accident, Kiruna
Police are contacted regarding a ditched car on länsväg 874. Police go to the scene and find the car and two people. The people are intoxicated but claim that neither of them drove the car. The driving cannot be confirmed. The car keys are taken into custody. 

02:08 Severe assault, Luleå
Police receive information about an assault in the city center, near a restaurant. A man is said to have been assaulted by two other men. The suspects, a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s, are arrested on suspicion of severe assault. After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to detain them. The injured party is taken to medical care, the extent of the injury is unknown. However, questioning has been able to be held with him.

Police stop and check a car in Gällivare. The driver, a man in his 25s, lacks the permission to drive. A report of unlawful driving is drawn up.
