Break-in at bank premises in Säter early on Sunday morning.
Neighbours heard shattering glass from the bank, which is why the police were alerted to the scene. A passerby also called the police when they saw that there was a large hole in a window belonging to the bank. At least two people were seen running from the scene in connection with the shattering glass.
When the police arrived a short time after the alarm, it could be established that someone or several people had been inside the bank and then left the scene. An investigation into theft through break-in has been initiated and the premises have been cordoned off to enable a technical crime scene investigation to be carried out.
It is unclear if anything was stolen. There is as yet no suspect in the case.
