Police are ordered to Mälarparksvägen on Östers Mälarstrand in Västerås due to a traffic accident.

A cyclist who crossed the road at a bicycle crossing is struck by a passenger car and is taken to hospital by ambulance, with an unclear injury status. The person was awake and able to speak at the time.

The driver of the passenger car, a 75-year-old man, is suspected of unlawful driving as the man lacked a driver's license. An additional report is also filed regarding failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
