Police were called to an address in central Kristinehamn due to a disturbance in a residence, where a man in his 50s was found deceased on the scene. The police initiated an investigation into murder or manslaughter. During the operation, a woman in her 30s was apprehended suspected of the crime, the woman is being held in custody by the prosecutor. 
Police continue to work on the case with a range of investigative measures.
The man's relatives have been informed.
