Police have conducted a traffic control on Strandvägen in Sorsele. Sobriety was checked for ten drivers and all were sober.

Police are ordered to Vitbergsbadet as two people are found to be unlawfully on the premises. A police patrol finds two men on the scene. They are suspected of unlawful entry.

Police are ordered to Umedalen due to a vandalism incident. A man is said to have been seen smashing windows on a residence. Police find the suspect, a man in his 40s. He is apprehended in accordance with the Law on the Deprivation of Liberty of Intoxicated Persons and taken to medical care as he has been injured. A report of vandalism is filed.

On Friday, there were more people on the move in Åsele. The police generally experienced a calm evening with a few minor incidents. There were a few fines issued for traffic offenses, one person was apprehended for intoxication and was allowed to sleep off the effects in the mobile arrest. The police also turned away a number of vehicles due to excessive noise. A report of assault and a counter-report of assault were filed after a fight at Trillens festival site.
