The police receive a call about a fight in a residence in Västerås. According to the complainant, a woman, one person is supposed to be injured.

When the police arrive at the relevant residence, two people, the complainant and the assaulted man, have already left the scene. Two men remain, of whom one shows blood on a shirt. The police conduct an interrogation with both men.

A police patrol meets the complainant to check on the assaulted man who is bleeding heavily, but who does not need an ambulance.

After the interrogation, a complaint of assault of normal grade is drawn up. One of the men who remained in the residence is apprehended, but is later released after interrogation.
