Under Saturday afternoon, at 17:33, the police were alerted about a moped accident in Ånge.

Two people were involved. One of them, a young man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance where he died. Next of kin have been notified.

There are no reports on the condition of the other person, a teenager. 

The cause of the accident will be investigated.
