22:24, traffic accident – Töreboda
A car drove off the road on regional road 3054 and into a ditch. The driver stated that the reason for the accident was that he had swerved for wildlife. The driver, a 70-year-old man, was taken to hospital by ambulance as he complained of back pain. There is no suspicion of a crime linked to the incident.
From around 18:00, Operation linked to cruising – Kungälv
Police carried out a planned operation in the Kungälv area due to several people and cars gathering for so-called cruising. During the operation, some interventions were made, resulting in reports of suspected narcotics offenses, drunk driving, assault, and violence against an officer. Fortunately, there is no information about any serious injuries.
Assault
There has been a lot of drinking and commotion during the evening and night in the county. In total, police have responded to around 20 alarms regarding assault. In about half of the cases, it has resulted in a report of assault. However, there is no information about any serious injuries as a result of these incidents. Several of these cases concern violence in close relationships.
Violence in close relationships - Göteborg
During the evening and night, police have responded to five alarms about crimes, usually violence, in close relationships in the municipality of Göteborg. This generated a number of reports of assault, harassment, and narcotics offenses. Three people were arrested within the framework of these cases. Fortunately, there is no information that anyone had to be taken to hospital urgently due to these incidents.
