The current press spokesperson is on site. Below follows a selection of last night's events.

00:50, assault – Varberg
Police were called to Societetsparken where two men in their 20s had fought. Police have been on the scene and checked both men. It is currently unclear what the background to the whole thing was, but alcohol appears to have been a part of it. One of the men was arrested suspected of aggravated assault. The other man is also suspected of assault but of a lower degree. No information that anyone needed to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.

00:14, Vandalism – Kungsbacka
Police were called to Västra Villastaden after a report of a young boy breaking windows on Västergatan. Security guards got control of the boy while the police were on their way to the scene. It turned out that the boy had escaped from a Hvb-home in another police region. The patrol took him to the hospital for re-bandaging as he had injured himself in connection with the incident. The case is being investigated as vandalism.

Driving under the influence – Laholm
During the evening, police received information that a woman had left a party in a car after having drunk a bit of alcohol. Based on the information police received, they were able to locate the car in another part of the county and the woman who was assessed to have driven the car blew positive in the initial screening device and was therefore taken in for further testing.
