Here follow a selection of events from last night:

22.37 Wildlife accident, Piteå:
Accident with a car and elk on E4, Hortlax. An ambulance was on the scene, but no person needed to be taken to medical care. The elk was injured and had to be put down.

01.25 Unlawful entry, Jokkmokk:
Police patrol is ordered to central Jokkmokk where unknown persons are said to have entered a company's fenced area. No suspected perpetrator was found by the patrol. A report of unlawful entry was made.

05.38 Traffic control, Boden:
At a traffic control on Moråsleden, Moråsen, seven drivers were given fines for speeding. One of these had their driver's license confiscated.

Other:
Two people were taken into custody for intoxication during the night.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
